WATCH: Truck Moves Washington’s Oldest Synagogue to Capital Jewish Museum

Adas Israel Synagogue, the first and oldest synagogue in Washington, D.C., was transported to its new location on Wednesday. The synagogue will be the centerpiece of the new Capital Jewish Museum, which is to open in 2021. This is actually the third time it has been moved.

Watch as the oldest synagogue in the District was driven down 3rd Street, NW as it made its way to the site of the new Capital Jewish Museum at the corner of 3rd and F Streets.
